Bhopal. Three accused of assaulting a woman in Sagar have been arrested. After the arrest on Thursday, the police took out a procession of the accused and took them to the court. After presenting him in the court, he was sent to jail. The incident of fight happened on the night of 12th August. Police came into action after the video went viral on social media. According to the information, the woman is a resident of Badamalhara in Chhatarpur district. The accused were beating her, her 5 month old child was lying on the ground. The victim had come to Sagar by bus on August 12 to attend the program. His child has some problem.

Investigation has revealed that the incident took place outside Pathak canteen located at Sagar bus stand. An accused is dragging the woman by holding her hand. The second person is beating him with a stick while the third person is slapping him. The people present at the spot are refusing to assault these people. Meanwhile, the third person kicks him in the face.

Additional SP Lokesh Singh told that the video came to the fore on Wednesday afternoon. The woman had gone to the canteen to get milk. There he had a dispute over money. The canteen staff asked him to leave from there. When she did not agree, she was beaten. The Gopalganj police station took suo motu cognizance of the viral video. All three accused have been arrested. They have been identified as Praveen alias Nandlal Rackwar (26) r/o Tilakganj Ward, Sagar, Vicky (20) s/o Santosh Yadav r/o Bhainsa, Sagar and Rakesh (40) s/o Bhagwandas Prajapati r/o Itwari Tori, Sagar. Further action is being taken.
