Bhopal. A case of rape of a six-year-old innocent has come to light on the roof of a multi located in Kolar police station area. The accused was doing obscene acts by taking off the clothes of the innocent. Meanwhile, the innocent made noise and some people reached the terrace. Seeing the people coming, the accused fled from the spot. Due to the matter being related to a minor, the police have registered a case under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act in the said case. Police have arrested the accused. The accused is addicted to dry drugs.
Station in-charge Jai Kumar told that a six-year-old innocent lives in a multi in the area. She studies in class II. The family of the innocent told the police that on March 12, she was playing with the children of the multi, when Sanjay Rao, a resident of the multi, threatened her and took her to the terrace with him. He scolded the children and chased them away and started doing obscene acts with the innocent. When the innocent made noise, the children informed the family about the incident. When the relatives and people around reached the terrace, the accused fled from the spot. The complaint of the incident was made after reaching the police station on Saturday. The family told that after the incident, he himself started looking for the accused, but the accused was absconding. Therefore, on Saturday, after reaching the police station, lodged a complaint. Police have arrested the accused.
