Bhopal. Former professor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism University, editor of ‘Rozgar Aur Nirman’ newspaper Prof. Pushpendra Pal Singh passed away last night due to heart attack. Prof. Singh had his first attack at around 12:30 in the night at his Trilanga residence. He was immediately taken to Bansal Hospital. There he got another attack and his breath stopped. Prof Singh’s old parents are at home. Father is also a heart patient. Prof Singh is survived by a daughter and a son. The wife had already passed away. There is a wave of mourning in the media world due to his death.

Prof Singh was also the President of MP Chapter of Public Relations Society of India. He was popularly known as ‘PP Sir’ among his students. Apart from studies, he helped countless students to get suitable employment. He had a deep attachment to literary-cultural activities. At this time Prof. Singh was rendering his services in public relations and media. In a way, he was in the role of a media advisor to the MP government.
