Under the ambit of promotion, time scale salary will be given to more than 5 thousand policemen.
Officials said that the rule of adhoc promotion has been implemented. That’s why it has been decided to give permanent promotion to the policemen. PHQ has issued an order saying that promotion from ASI to SI will be given. Similarly SI Inspectors will be made. Instructions have been given to make a list for this. Seniority will be taken into consideration for promotion. Those who were in the list of promotion for a long time but the matter of reservation is pending in the court. In such a situation, he will be promoted under the rule of adhoc promotion. Also the policemen who cannot be promoted. They will be given time scale pay. Preference will be given to those doing duty on the same post for 15 years. CR and complaints of policemen will also be investigated for promotion. Policemen against whom investigation is going on. They will not be given promotion.
