Bhopal, Speaker Girish Gautam once again innovated in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Under this, a new tradition was seen in front of the House. March 8 was International Women’s Day, but due to Holi festival being a holiday on that day, the women power in the assembly could not ask questions in the house and the house could not be conducted by the woman chairperson. Speaker Shri Gautam fulfilled this tradition today.

Assembly Speaker Mr. Gautam celebrated the House as Women’s Day. Krishna Gaur, a woman member of the House, was made the chairman. Mrs. Rajshree Rudra Pratap Singh, Mrs. Jhuma Solanki, Ms. Hina Kavre, Mrs. Kalpana Verma, Mrs. Rambai and Dr. Vijayalakshmi Sadho participated in the Question Hour. This historic decision of the Speaker was praised and appreciated by all the members in the House.
