Jabalpur : In Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur late on Friday night, the NIA team raided the house of a High Court lawyer along with the local police. This raid was done late at night. In which a large number of police children were deployed. According to the information, the NIA team took action around the house of history sheeter Abdul Razzaq in Badi Omati area. According to sources, the raids were conducted by the team on the basis of inputs received from NIA’s earlier actions in the state. The investigation team has come to know about getting objectionable literature and weapons from the spot. Teams from Bhopal and Delhi arrived with search warrants from the court.
High court senior advocate A Usmani’s house raided
The NIA team raided half a dozen places including the house of Senior High Court advocate A Usmani at Omati, Jabalpur’s Badi Ghantaghar late night. A team of about a dozen IPS officers and 200 policemen, who arrived from Delhi and Bhopal, surrounded the entire area. The main road was closed and the entire area was converted into a cantonment so that there would be no disturbance in the operation.
Maqsood Kabadi and Ahad Ullah Ansari’s house raided
According to the information received, the NIA team raided the houses of Maqsood Kabadi and Ahad Ullah Ansari. A large number of police personnel have been deployed in this action which took place late in the evening. Sources are also telling that the matter may be related to terror funding.
Action taken on the basis of inputs received from terrorists
Please inform that 16 terrorists were arrested by NIA from Bhopal, Chhindwara and Hyderabad. Of these, 10 were arrested from Bhopal, 1 from Chhindwara and 5 from Hyderabad. Those who were interrogated by the NIA on remand and on the basis of the inputs received from them, the NI has conducted these raids in Jabalpur.
