MPPSC Exam Date Extension: Candidates once again staged a big demonstration demanding extension of the date of Madhya Pradesh State Service Examination Mains 2023 (MPPSC MAINS 2023). Hundreds of candidates gathered outside the office of the State Public Service Commission on Monday afternoon and raised slogans. The candidates are demanding that the date of Mains starting from March 11 should be extended.

Candidates sat on the road
The anger among the candidates is such that hundreds of them gathered outside the Commission’s office. Candidates also demanded to increase the number of posts with the date of Mains. Angry candidates sat on the road outside the Commission’s office for a long time and raised slogans.

Know what the candidates have to say
The State Service Pre 2023 examination was held on 17 December and the result came on 18 January. Candidates say that we should get at least 90 days after the result. Candidates also say that on an average two-two and a half lakh candidates appear for State Services Pre every time and depending on the posts only about five to eight thousand pass for Mains, now they will not get full time for preparation, so with this There will be injustice.

The commission gave the reason
At the same time, the Commission says that the examination schedule was released by the Commission in October 2023 itself. The candidates already knew when the exam was to be held, secondly the candidates are counting 90 days wrongly from the result, the exam was held on 17th December. Accordingly, they are getting enough time.
If the exam date is extended then it will be held on 28th April 2024. But there will also be Lok Sabha elections at that time. Considering all this, if the date is extended then the entire exam schedule will get disturbed.

When were the exams held in previous years?
There was a period of 11 months between Pre and Mains of the year 2019. In 2021, 8 months were given, while in 2022, 7 months were given. UPSC also gives 110 days time after the pre result.
