MP Weather Update Today: Cold will increase again in the state from tomorrow, fog and mist in 16 cities from morning;  light rain forecast

MP Weather Update Today : The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday also. Due to this, there may be light rain at isolated places in Sagar, Rewa and Shahdol divisions. After passing of cyclonic circulation and trough line, northern winds will again enter the state. Due to this, severe cold will start from tomorrow i.e. Wednesday.

Since this morning, there was fog and mist in 16 cities of the state including Gwalior and Jabalpur. Earlier on Sunday, there was heavy rain at some places and light rain at other places in Malajkhand, Umaria, Seoni, Mandla, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Pamchadhi. Here, on Monday also many cities including Bhopal remained cloudy. Fog also covered Bhopal in the evening.

Why did the weather change in MP?
Dr. Vedprakash Singh, senior scientist of the Meteorological Department, Bhopal, said that a cyclonic circulation system and trough line is passing around southern Gujarat. Due to both of these, the weather in the state remained changed. After the system passes, northern winds will start blowing. This will increase the effect of cold.

Day temperature increased in these cities
On Monday, the day temperature increased in many cities of the state. The maximum temperature was recorded at 26.9 degrees in Bhopal, 28.6 degrees in Indore, 24.5 degrees in Gwalior, 28 degrees in Jabalpur and 28.5 degrees in Ujjain. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Gwalior was 7.6 degrees on Sunday-Monday night. In the rest of the cities the mercury was recorded at just more than 12 degrees.

Naugaon of Chhatarpur is the coldest, mercury crosses 31 degrees in Khandwa of Nimar.
Naugaon was the coldest place in the state on Monday. The day temperature here was recorded at 23.4 degrees. The mercury remained below 25 degrees in Khajuraho, Tikamgarh, Pachmarhi. The mercury remained more than 29 degrees in Dhar, Damoh, Umaria, Narmadapuram and Khandwa. The highest temperature in Khandwa was 31.5 degrees.
