The temperature has also dropped due to light rain. According to the Meteorological Department, the western disturbance formed in the form of a cyclone in the upper part of the air has now reached north-western Uttar Pradesh. For this reason, the temperature has started falling during the day as well as at night in the state. Although there was slight sunshine during the day.
Rewa is the coldest city
According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, Rewa remained the coldest city in the state during the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature recorded here was 9.4 degrees. Whereas the minimum temperature in Gwalior was 9.6 degrees. Apart from these, the chill has increased due to cold winds in Khajuraho, Damoh, Sagar, Umaria, Shajapur and Ratlam districts.
The temperature dropped in the capital
Whereas the minimum temperature in hill station Pachmarhi was 11.4 degrees Celsius. Even in the capital Bhopal, the night temperature dropped marginally to 13.6 degrees Celsius. There was moderate fog in Bhopal on Thursday morning and visibility was recorded around 200 to 500 meters.
Weather will change after January 13
SN Sahu, senior scientist of the Meteorological Center, said that due to moisture, fog persists in most of the cities of the state in the morning. Also, it is cloudy at some places. There is a possibility of moderate level fog in the morning for the next two days. A slight increase in temperature may be seen after 13-14 January.

On Wednesday, there was very dense fog in Ujjain, Mandsaur, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Jabalpur, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Shajapur, Rajgarh, Panna, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, Guna, Neemuch, Agar and Mandla in the state.
Whereas there was moderate fog in Vidisha, Raisen, Ratlam, Narmadapuram, Sagar, Damoh, Katni, Datia, Morena, Bhind, Khandwa, Khargone, Dindori, Umaria, Shahdol, Alirajpur, Barwani, Anuppur, Sidhi and Singrauli districts.
