MP Weather News: Cold broke all records in MP, severe cold again in the last week, Shahdol remained the coldest city in the country.

Madhya Pradesh Today Weather News: 26 January 2024: The cold is not stopping in Madhya Pradesh. Two cities of Madhya Pradesh topped the list of coldest places in the plains of India. Whereas in MP the mercury has fallen below 10 degrees in 23 cities. Many cities like Gwalior, Jabalpur, Khajuraho, Naugaon are experiencing chill during the day.

Cold day in Khandwa and Khargone districts
The lowest minimum temperature in the country was recorded at 1.7 degrees Celsius in Kalyanpur in Shahdol district and 2.5 degrees in Bijawar in Chhatarpur district. Whereas 5 cities of Madhya Pradesh were included in the top 10. In which the mercury was 3.1 degrees in Shivpuri, 3.3 degrees in Ashoknagar and 3.4 degrees in Khajuraho. Cold day situation has arisen in Khandwa and Khargone districts.

Severe cold in many districts
The cold of morning and evening still persists in MP capital Bhopal. People definitely get some relief from the strong sunlight in the afternoon. But, there are still many cities where it is extremely cold.

Severe cold again from 27th January
Meteorologists have predicted the weather to change in the next 24 hours. Due to Western Disturbance, light drizzle may also occur at some places. Severe cold is expected again from the last week of January i.e. 27th January.

Minimum temperature of major places
If we look at the temperature of major districts of the state, it is minimum 3.4 in Khajuraho, 4.5 in Nagaon, 4.9 in Umaria, 5 in Rajgarh, 5.5 in Rewa, 5.8 in Mandla, minimum 6.2 in Raisen, 6.4 in Jabalpur, 8.6 in Bhopal, 8.6 in Gwalior. Minimum temperature was 9.5, Indore recorded 9.7 degree Celsius.
