MP RTO: Effect of strike and holiday in RTO, pendency increasing continuously.

Bhopal. Work remained closed in all the RTO offices of the state including the capital yesterday due to the mass strike by the employees regarding their demands. RTO remained closed in Bhopal for the fourth day due to Tuesday being a holiday due to Ganesh Chaturthi. This means that the applicants could not get their work done for about four days. Due to this, the pendency regarding license, registration, fitness and other works is continuously increasing.

A lot of work is pending.

Nearly four thousand applications have become pending in four days. In such a situation, the workload in RTO will be very high on Wednesday. It is being told that RTO was closed due to holidays on Saturday and Sunday. After this, the work was affected due to the mass strike of the employees on Monday. Tuesday was also a holiday for RTO. In such a situation, due to closure of offices for four days during the festive season, many people’s work is pending.

Applicants are afraid of increasing penalty

According to Shyam Yadav, State President of Madhya Pradesh Third Class Employees Union, Transport Department, the employees will remain on indefinite strike until their demands are not met. In such a situation, now there is doubt over the functioning of RTO Bhopal on Wednesday. If the employees remain on strike then the pendency will increase significantly. The last date for many applicants has passed. In such a situation, there is a fear of their penalty amount increasing further.
