Bhopal. Taking a decision in the interest of the farmers of the state, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan (cm shivraj) has taken a decision (desigion) to purchase moong, a crop prepared in the summer season, at the minimum support price (msp). The registration date has been extended to May 31. Earlier this date was extended till May 19. Shivraj has decided to extend the date of registration on the request of the farmers of Moong producing districts of the state. This year, the price of moong has been fixed at Rs 7 thousand 755 per quintal. Farming is being expanded to prepare the summer crop moong by providing irrigation facilities to the farmers.

Registration centers are open in 32 districts

The Shivraj government has decided to buy moong at the support price so that the farmers in the state can get the right price for their produce in the market. Narmadapuram, Narsinghpur, Raisen, Harda, Sehore, Jabalpur, Dewas, Sagar, Guna, Khandwa, Khargone, Katni, Damoh, Vidisha, Barwani, Morena, Betul, Sheopurkalan, Bhind, Bhopal, Seoni, 32 districts with maximum production of moong. Registration centers have been opened for the convenience of farmers in Chhindwara, Burhanpur, Chhatarpur, Umaria, Dhar, Rajgarh, Mandla, Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, Balaghat and Indore. Farmers will be able to reach these procurement centers and easily sell the prepared crops at a reasonable price.
