Till now the tourists coming here see animals through jungle safari. But from now on night safari has also been started here. In which everyone will be shown celestial activities. Here astronomical information will be given by showing stars and planets with modern machines and telescopes.
To know the deep secrets of the sky and to make common people aware about astronomy, an initiative called Sky Safari has been started in Rajendragiri, Pachmarhi. Sky Safari team has been formed in Pachmarhi and people are being made aware about the mysteries of the sky through various astronomical activities at Rajendragiri after 7 pm. Here, the main attractions are the display of Jupiter’s moons, Saturn’s rings, Pleiades (Kritika) group of stars, Andromeda galaxy etc. through a telescope. Here the program starts with a documentary which contains facts related to the sky. After this, experts provide astronomy to the people through laser and other equipment.
