In the organization of Kisan Mahasammelan, the Prime Minister will start giving 3 thousand crore rupees for crop insurance in the accounts of farmers. With Modi’s presence in the Kisan Mahasammelan, the BJP will give a good message to the farmers across the country. Rabi and Kharif crops were affected due to excessive rainfall in the year 2021-22. The government had made a provision to provide crop insurance to the farmers. For this, 44 lakh farmers have taken insurance. Assembly elections are also to be held in the state. For this, BJP is leaving no stone unturned to get the support of the farmers. In the 2018 elections, the Congress was supported to waive the loan of Rs 2 lakh and this party also won.
Fertilizer-seeds will be easily available from cooperatives
It has been informed by the departmental officials that insurance claims worth about Rs 3 thousand crore have been approved. This amount of crop insurance is to be given in the accounts of the farmers. A proposal in this regard has been sent to the Chief Minister’s Office. With the interest waiver, these farmers will start getting fertilizers and seeds from cooperatives from June, which was stopped due to ineligibility. Similarly, the state government is also going to give the benefit of Prime Minister’s crop insurance to more than 15 lakh farmers. It is believed that the government is also preparing to announce some other schemes.
