To make this day more memorable, today the prisoners lodged in different cities of Madhya Pradesh have been released on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Let us tell you that all the prisoners were given life imprisonment. But due to their good behavior the prisoners have been freed today. The morning of 2nd October i.e. Gandhi Jayanti has come as a ray of new light for the prisoners lodged in the Central Jails.
Prisoners of Satna, Satna and Indore released
Let us tell you that all the prisoners were serving sentences for different crimes. But considering their behaviour, 5 prisoners from Central Jail Satna, 7 from Rewa and 4 from Indore have been released. A proposal for release was prepared and sent by the jail administration to the jail headquarters, which was passed by the headquarters and he was released. There was no limit to the joy when the criminals who had completed their punishment for their crimes were released.
People are released from jail 4 times a year
In the jails of Madhya Pradesh, prisoners are released four times a year on the basis of good conduct. These include 15 August (Independence Day), 26 January (Republic Day), 14 April (Ambedkar Jayanti) and 2 October (Gandhi Jayanti). Earlier, prisoners were released only twice a year. But now people will be given release on Ambedkar Jayanti and Gandhi Jayanti also.
