MP News: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav handed over appointment letters to 559 officers selected in the State Civil Services Examination 2019 and 2020 at Ravindra Bhawan on Thursday. Along with this, there was direct communication with the new officers. Apart from providing appointment letters, the new officers were informed about the vision of Madhya Pradesh Government.

The purpose of organizing the program was to encourage the candidates preparing for the Civil Services Examination and to make the new officers aware of good governance, the goal of sustainable development and the vision of the Madhya Pradesh government. The progress journey of the state in the last 20 years and major social and economic indicators were also presented in the programme. The Chief Minister communicated directly with the selected candidates. Apart from this, the candidates shared information about their success and difficulties faced in achieving their goals. Some officials asked direct questions to the CM, to which CM Mohan answered very boldly.

If you become an officer, don’t be arrogant.
A newly appointed woman officer asked CM Mohan how to do public dealing? On this the CM said, our work should enhance our dignity. We should try to ensure that we do not commit any mistake, knowingly or unknowingly. We are not God, so that we will not make mistakes. But, the ideology should not be wrong. Our aim should be right. Sometimes some officers also become arrogant in the department. They have to take care not to cut the roots from where we came. If you become an officer, do not be arrogant. Contribute to the development of the country and state by becoming an officer.

New officers selected in State Civil Service are Revenue Department, School Education, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Commercial Tax Department, Finance Department, Public Relations Department, Tribal Affairs Department, Food and Civil Supplies Department, Personnel Department, Home Department, Urban Administration Department, Will be posted in Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Labor Department, Cooperative Department and Jail Department.

Appointments on 13 percent posts were stopped
The result of MP PSC State Service Examination 2019 was declared a month ago. In this, selection list was released for 87 percent posts. Due to the OBC reservation case pending in the court, appointments to 13 percent posts were stopped. There are 7 girls in the top-10 in this list. The State Service Examination was held for 484 posts. Of these, at present the results of 472 have been released. Out of these posts, women have been selected on 197 posts i.e. 42 percent of the total recruited number. Of these, 13 candidates have become Deputy Collector while 9 have become DSP.
