MP ELECTION:Straight. An FIR has been lodged against Congress Assembly candidate Gyan Singh. The Congress candidate is accused of abusing and fatally attacking the house of BJP candidate Riti Pathak with his supporters.
In the written complaint in this regard on behalf of the applicant Vishwabandhudhar Dwivedi, it has been said that a written application was submitted by Reeti Pathak candidate 77 Sidhi Bharatiya Janata Party that at 7 pm on 16/11/23, Congress candidates Gyan Singh Chauhan and Rahul Singh Chauhan residents of Demaha and Ajit Singh Manju, Naveen Singh Baghel, Dr. Saurabh Singh Chauhan, Anshuman Singh Chauhan, Shailendra Singh Tiku and hundreds of other Congress supporters surrounded the residence of BJP candidate Reeti Pathak in violation of the code of conduct.

It has been said in the application that BJP candidate Reeti Pathak stopped these Congress leaders from entering by raising her voice. In the application, prima facie sections 188, 147, 148, 294, 341, 352 IPC have been registered against the accused. After being found to have committed an offence, a case under Section 114 was registered against the accused and taken up for investigation. In the letter written to the District Election Officer, it has been said that District Sidhi (MP) Congress candidate Gyan Singh Chauhan along with hundreds of his supporters violated the Model Code of Conduct by illegally gheraoing the residence of BJP candidate Reeti Pathak. . Gyan Singh Chauhan is accused of surrounding the house of BJP candidate Reeti Pathak with hundreds of his supporters and abusing her and stopping her from entering the house.
It was told that Rahul Singh Chauhan of village Demha, who is a habitual criminal, tried to kill Kamlesh Upadhyay (Raju), a supporter of Reeti Pathak, by running him over with a car. Congress candidate Gyan Singh Chauhan used indecent words to the reader and said that he is too proud because of his dear sisters, please correct this. Hundreds of supporters including Congress candidate Ajit Singh Manju, Naveen Singh Baghel, Dr. Saurav Singh Chauhan, Anshuman Singh Chauhan, Shailendra Singh Tinku were present. At present, the code of conduct is in force due to which Section 144 is effective in the district, which has been violated. A demand has been made on behalf of Reeti Pathak to take strict action against the accused.
