Bhopal. Action has been taken by the Forest Department to seize 56 teak ingots and Bolero pick-up vehicles from smugglers carrying illegal teak from Najirabad area of ​​Vidisha. Forest Department officials had received information from the informer that the smugglers were going to cut teak wood from Nazirabad and take it via Bhopal route for sale. After the information, as per the guidelines of the DFO, SDO RS Bhadauria and other employees started night patrolling to catch the smugglers.

The speeding vehicle overturned after colliding with the divider:
After surveillance of two days and two nights, a Bolero pickup was seen carrying illegal teak wood. After which an attempt was made by the officials to stop the vehicle, but the driver increased the speed after seeing the officials of the forest department and drove the vehicle for several km at a high speed, but the speeding vehicle suddenly overturned after climbing the divider. After which the smugglers saw the opportunity and fled towards the forest. Forest Department officials have found two mobile phones from the vehicle, on the basis of which action is being taken to nab the smugglers.

Information was received by the informer that smugglers were carrying illegal teak from Najirabad, after which the team was deployed to nab them. On the second night, smugglers were seen carrying ingots in a Bolero vehicle. After chasing for several kilometres, the vehicle overturned. 56 teak ingots and two mobiles have been recovered from the vehicle, on the basis of which efforts are being made to trace the smugglers and illegal teak buyers.
