Bhopal. In the year 2011, the state government had made a rule to give cash and land to the permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh, who served in the army, on receiving gallantry decorations. Now it has been amended. After this, instead of land, cash will be provided in all cases. Rules have also been fixed for the cash amount. Out of the total grant amount, 30 percent will be given to the parents, 35 percent to the widow’s wife and the remaining 35 percent to the children in equal parts. That amount will be deposited as a fixed deposit when the children are minors. According to the order issued from the General Administration Department (GAD), the new order is issued canceling the earlier order. In this, one crore on Paramveer Chakra award, one crore on Ashok Chakra, 75 lakh on Mahavir Chakra, 75 lakh on Kirti Chakra, 50 lakh on Vir Chakra, 50 lakh on Shaurya Chakra and 25 lakh on Army, Navy, Air Force Medal Gallantry. And on Mention in Dispatches, a grant of Rs 25 lakh will be given by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Many types of rules have also been made in this. So that in the said situation grant money can be provided to the brave soldiers of the army.

The state government has also decided that this cash grant will be given to the permanent resident of War Service Medal and Special Service category. In this, Rs 10 lakh for best war service, 7 lakh for Uttam Yudh Seva Medal, 5 lakh for Yudh Seva Medal, 5 lakh for Param Vishisht Seva Medal, 2.5 lakh for Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, 2 lakh for Sena Medal and Vishisht Seva Medal. But an amount of one lakh rupees will be provided.
