JABALPUR NEWS: Jabalpur. During checking in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh on Saturday night, the RPF team caught two youths and seized 40 kg of silver worth lakhs from them. Both the youth are residents of Jabalpur. They were going to sell jewelery in Gadarwara in Narsinghpur district. The value of the seized silver is said to be more than Rs 25 lakh.
Jabalpur RPF TI Irfan Mansoori said that on Saturday night our team was checking on platform number 6. During this time, two suspicious youths were seen, who were carrying two big bags. On the basis of suspicion, when both the youth were stopped and interrogated and asked to open the bag, they became reluctant. During strict interrogation, it was revealed that about 40 kg of silver jewelery was kept in both the bags. The names of both are Nishant Jain and Atiq Jain.
During interrogation, he told that he had a jewelers shop in Jabalpur and he was going to Gadarwara in Narsinghpur to give the jewelery there. When RPF asked the documents of jewelery from both the youths, they could not provide them. RPF has taken both the youth into custody and confiscated the silver jewelery kept with them. GST and Income Tax Department have also been informed about this.
