Sanjay Shukla Mining Case: The troubles of former MLA Sanjay Shukla are increasing. Additional Collector Court issued notice. Sanjay Shukla will have to reply to this notice of the court by April 19. The biggest fine so far has been imposed in the district in the case of illegal mining.

For this, a notice of Rs 140 crore 63 lakh 14 thousand 330 has been issued against former MLA Sanjay Shukla, Rajendra Shukla, Eden Garden Housing Society President Nilesh father Banwarilal Pansari and Meharban Singh.

Know what is the matter
1.437 hectare land of survey number 4/1/1 and 4/2/1, 9/3/1 of Baroli located on Ujjain Road was allotted for mining in the name of Pandit Vishnu Prasad Shukla. In this, ballast and gravel were mined by installing a crusher machine. According to the Mineral Department, in 2017 the Pollution Department ordered the closure of this mine but even then the excavation continued.

Case was registered in 2017
When the then Collector of Indore, Dr. Ilaiyaraaja T got the information, he raided the place and seized the crusher machine and formed a committee to investigate. After this the mine was sealed. A case was first registered in this matter in February 2017.

Next hearing will be held on April 19
On the instructions of the state government, the administration registered a case against senior BJP leader late Vishnu Prasad Shukla and his son Sanjay Shukla in the illegal digging case. Later the department imposed a penalty of about Rs 140 crore in this case. The lease of the land is in the name of Sanjay Shukla’s father Vishnu Prasad Shukla ‘elder brother’ but due to his demise, fine can be recovered from son Sanjay and his elder brother Rajendra Shukla. Now a notice has been issued from the Additional Collector Court in this matter. Hearing in this case will be held on April 19.
