Skill is a medium which is not dependent on age.
It is said that as we cross the stages of age, there are many activities from which the mind and body start moving away. Of course, it can happen, but not 100%. Skill is such a means, which is not dependent on age. The garden in which it grows once, continues to bear fruit throughout its life. Then the curtain of age cannot cover it even if it wants to.
The Senior Citizen Day Care Center, run by Indore-based social service organization Being Responsible, is a living proof that if you have art, it will come out bright even after breaking the shackles of age. There is a large number of singing talents amongst the members associated with the centre. Every Monday, the atmosphere here is amazing, when a gathering of tunes is organized and the talented members here seem to be playing one tune after another.
Childhood appears at fifty-five
The most special thing is that all these members are above 60 years of age, but when they sing one by one, their zeal and enthusiasm seems like the gentle nature of a child. The urge to give one’s performance is felt just by watching. When the members are singing, their life experience of 6 to 8 decades comes out with great depth, which is truly a sight to behold.
