- Gwalior Assembly : Only a few months are left for the assembly elections to be held in Madhya Pradesh. BJP-Congress have started trying their best to get power. Both the major parties have become active in all the 230 assembly seats in the state.
Today we are going to talk about the Gwalior Assembly, from where the current BJP MLA is Pradyuman Singh Tomar. Tomar is the third time MLA from here. This is the same constituency which has seen the rise and fall of many big politicians. Apart from BJP, Congress, other parties including Aam Aadmi Party have started election preparations for the 2023 assembly elections.
Pradhuman Singh Tomar, BJP MLA from Gwalior, was elected MLA from Congress in the year 2008. After this, he again became an MLA in 2018 on a Congress ticket. After this, he won the elections again in the 2020 by-election and left the Congress and joined the BJP. Pradhuman Singh Tomar is considered one of the closest of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Gwalior assembly constituency has the maximum number of Brahmin voters. There are about 30 to 34 thousand Brahmins, 28 thousand Thakurs, 24 thousand Kurmis, 16 thousand Muslims and 20 thousand Vaishyas here.

Sunil Sharma, who contested on a Congress ticket in the 2020 by-election, says that I am grateful to the Congress party that the party gave me a chance to contest the by-election. The people of the same area also blessed me a lot. I have full hope that this time also the public will support the Congress. There is no positive result shown for the voters after the by-election. This time the voters are making up their mind to change the government.
