After inspecting the Global Skill Park under construction in Bhopal, held a review meeting with the departmental officers regarding its progress and gave instructions to complete the work with quality and within the time limit. This is a very ambitious project of Madhya Pradesh. On completion of this park being developed in an area of 30 acres with the technical consultation and cooperation of Singapore, about 10,000 youth of the state will be provided training and linked with employment.
Global Skills Park, India’s first multi-skill park, will provide advanced job-ready skill training of international standards. The Global Skills Park will introduce technology-oriented skills of global standards, targeted at ITI graduates and others with prior technical training. The Global Skills Park will include core advanced training institutes – Center for Vocational Skill Acquisition (COSA) and Center for Advanced Agriculture Training (CAAT) – and TVET support services such as entrepreneurship development, training of trainers and skill-related research. The Global Skills Park will serve as a central hub for other TVET institutes in the state, showcasing global best practices in training delivery, industry collaboration, pedagogy, assessment and certification.
