Cashless treatment facility will start in 6 states
Also, to start this facility and to save people from overcrowding, a separate counter will also be opened for CGHS patients. According to the information received at present, cashless treatment facility will be available in six AIIMS of the country (Patna, Jodhpur, Raipur, Rishikesh, Bhopal and Bhubaneswar). For which work is being done by the government.
Patients will be able to get treatment through CGHS card
However, like all other government hospitals, AIIMS also does not have a system of cashless treatment. Also, due to overcrowding, people avoid going to AIIMS. To overcome both these problems, the ministry is negotiating an agreement with AIIMS. Here patients will be able to get treatment through their CGHS card without depositing any money in the same way as they get it done in a private hospital.
