Bhopal. Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh has issued a statement calling the efforts of the Congress to help the OBC class a new conspiracy to exploit the OBC class. He said that it was the BJP government which gave the status of the Constitutional Commission to the OBC class. The manner in which the Congress adopted the tactics of entangling the decisions of the BJP government to give reservation to OBCs in the three-tier Panchayati Raj elections and urban body elections in the courts, it has been proved that the Congress has not given up its anti-OBC mentality. Congress has never allowed an OBC to become the chief minister in MP, nor has it made any leader of this class the leader of the opposition.
Minister Singh said that the Congress has a history that it has never placed OBC leaders on top and important posts. The Congress has never allowed OBCs to become the Chief Minister in MP, nor has any leader of this class been made the leader of the opposition. Today, in the BJP government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan belong to the OBC category.
He said that it was the Kamal Nath government, which presented the misleading and untrue figure in the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Reservation Amendment Bill on July 8, 2019, that the total population of Other Backward Classes in Madhya Pradesh is only 27 percent. This is the real anti-OBC face of the Congress, which has become evidence forever in the documents of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
Minister Singh clarified his point by giving more examples and said that the state’s BJP government passed a resolution in the assembly that panchayat and urban body elections should not be held without OBC reservation and for this the government had even brought an ordinance. But the Congress, as usual, has done the work of crushing the OBC interests by involving the entire episode in the court process through the petitioners of its party in petty political interest.
Minister Singh said that Kamal Nath should be told that when the Jabalpur High Court had put a stay on only three examinations for OBC reservation, then despite being the Chief Minister for one year, instead of 27 percent reservation in all examinations and appointments, he gave 14 percent reservation to OBC candidates. Why did you do injustice to It is a universal fact that Kamal Nath did not allow even a single backward class candidate to get the benefit of 27 percent reservation during his government. While Chief Minister Shivraj Singh ji made this possible within a month of becoming the Chief Minister.
Minister Mr. Bhupendra Singh said that Kamal Nath should be told that when the Jabalpur High Court had stayed only three examinations for OBC reservation, then even after being the Chief Minister for one year, he gave 14 percent reservation instead of 27 percent in all the examinations and appointments. Why was injustice done to OBC candidates? Minister Shri Singh said that the government of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has created a Venture Capital Fund for the economic upliftment of the OBC community. Modi ji also gave 27 percent reservation to OBCs in Sainik School, Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya. The apex court upheld the 27 per cent reservation in the All India Quota of NEET. Not a single OBC candidate got a job during the Kamal Nath government of Congress. We will be grateful to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan for giving 27 percent reservation to OBCs in direct recruitment.
