Bhopal. In most parts of the state including the capital, there has been a rise in mercury due to sunshine in the day and clouds in the night on Thursday. Day’s temperature in the city increased by about 2 degrees and night’s temperature was 33.2 and 14.5 degrees respectively. It is 4 and one degree higher than normal respectively. According to the Meteorological Center, not much change is expected in the temperature. According to meteorologist AK Shukla, the temperature continues to fluctuate due to change in winds. The weather will remain like this for two days. There was maximum increase of 3.1 in the night’s mercury in the state. In the districts of Sagar, Damoh and Bhopal etc., the cold disappeared at night due to increase in temperature between two to three degrees.

It’s not cold yet:

According to expert Mr. Shukla, there will be further change in temperature after the arrival of Western Disturbance on February 25. It is estimated that there will be no effect of winter. High clouds will continue now. After the turn of the weather in late February or early March, there may be a drop in the temperature for a day or two, leading to slight coolness at night.

The average temperature across the state is close to 33 degrees:

On Thursday, the average day temperature in the entire state including Bhopal was close to 33 degrees. In Rajgarh, Umaria, Khandwa, the maximum temperature has been around 36 and in Ratlam, Khargone, Damoh, Dhar etc. districts, the maximum temperature has been around 35.
