Children, elders and women ran for cleanliness

110 villages will be made ODF plus by December 31

Programs organized in Panchayats on World Toilet Day

On the occasion of World Toilet Day, the children, elders and women of the village ran for cleanliness in Nipaniya Drukha. Through this run, the message of cleanliness was given to the people of the village, in which information was given about toilets, garbage segregation and beautification of the village. Posters and charts were made by the children on the theme of World Toilet Day in activities organized at the Health and Wellness Centers.


On the occasion of World Cleanliness Day, cleanliness run was organized in Nipaniya Sukha Gram Panchayat Block Phanda. To increase public participation on cleanliness in rural areas of Bhopal and to spread the message of cleanliness from door to door, children participated in the cleanliness day on Saturday. District Panchayat CEO Rituraj Singh said that out of 466 villages in the district, 356 villages have become ODF plus. All the remaining villages will be made ODF plus by 31st December. Door-to-door collection of waste is being done everywhere. After collecting the wet and dry waste separately, its segregation is being done.

In this work cooperation of cleanliness champions, swachhagrahis, self-help groups, ASHA workers, volunteers, common people, youth, school children and folk artists is being taken.
