Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there cannot be change in the society without bringing social revolution. By changing the excise policy, we have taken a big step towards social reform. While organic farming is being promoted in the state, a study is being done in this direction to see how the farmer can earn from rearing cows. The Chief Minister said that the Congress governments have always been talking about empty coffers, but they never felt any shortage of funds to run the government. He said that he would never do such a thing in his life, due to which the people of the state would have to be disappointed. The Chief Minister was addressing the felicitation ceremony organized by Mata Beti Bai Smriti Shikshan Samiti at Ravindra Bhavan on Saturday. Former CM Uma Bharti and State BJP President Vishnudutt Sharma were also present on this occasion.
BJP government formed in 2003 because of Umaji
Chief Minister Chouhan said that before the year 2003, it was said in the state that it is difficult for the BJP to form the government in the state. Digvijay Singh will form the government by any means. But Didi Uma Bharti put her health at stake while working hard. Because of which, in 2003, due to the strategy, hard work and leadership of Uma didi, the BJP government was formed in Madhya Pradesh. He said that it is the result of Didi’s penance that till now she never faced shortage of funds to run the government. CM Chouhan said that my pain and Didi’s (Uma Bharti) are in common. We have seen the difference between sons and daughters in the villages. I have seen men doing injustice to their wives. Due to which I used to feel pain that I have to do something for my sister and daughters. We all have given a concrete shape to the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. In this, Rs 1,000 will start coming into the accounts of eligible sisters from the month of June. The Chief Minister said that he has a very old relationship with Uma Didi. He told that Uma ji never tolerated injustice. While working in Yuva Morcha, at the behest of Uma ji, she had reached Mauthi village of Tikamgarh, where there was a problem in getting a daughter married and the police was not allowing the baraat to enter the village, then we crossed the river and reached the village. The CM said that making changes in the new excise policy was not a trivial matter.
