Bhopal. The number of dead has reached more than a dozen in the horrific road accident that took place late night near Mohania Tunnel in Sidhi’s Churhat police station area. Hearing the news of the accident, Chief Minister Chouhan had reached the spot in the night itself. After seeing the injured at the Medical College here, Chief Minister Chouhan announced that Rs 10 lakh would be given to the kin of those killed in the accident and Rs 2 lakh to the injured. The accident took place when three buses overturned when they were returning from the program of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Chief Minister became active as soon as he got the news of the incident
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had instructed the officials to provide all possible help to the people affected by the accident as soon as he got the news of the accident in Sidhi district during his stay in Satna district. With this, he decided to reach the spot immediately. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that this accident is heart-wrenching. Instructions have been given to provide financial assistance to the relatives of the deceased in the accident. Along with this, instructions have also been given to provide free treatment to the injured. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inquired about the loss of lives and rescue efforts as a result of a truck hitting parked buses in the Sidhi district tonight. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan learned the details from administrative officials, citizens and eyewitnesses of the incident. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan is going to meet the injured.
Kamal Nath, Digvajay also expressed condolences
On receiving the news of the accident, State Congress President Kamal Nath and senior leader Digvijay Singh expressed their condolences on the death in the accident and demanded proper treatment and necessary financial assistance to the injured.
