Bhopal. Chaitra Navratri i.e. the great festival of worship of Shakti will start from Wednesday. The worshipers of this great festival which lasts for nine days will please Maa Durga by worshiping the goddess of power and chanting mantras etc. Attractive decorations and preparations for religious events are in full swing in the Devi temples of the capital. On the other hand, immense enthusiasm is visible in the minds of the devotees for fasting and meditation, while groups of devotees have also started leaving from the capital to visit Maihar’s Sharda Bhavani and Mata Vaishno Devi. The new year will also start with Chaitichand, Gudi Padwa. Special preparations have been made for Navratri in the temples.

Guru Pandit Ramjeevan Dubey, the priest of Bhopal Maa Chamunda Darbar told that Navratri will start in Gajkesari, Budhaditya and Siddha Muhurta. After this, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga will remain for 4 days in the whole nine days. Ram Navami will be Pushya Nakshatra on 30 March. All these yogas are considered auspicious for worship and shopping. Ghat Sthapana on Navratri will happen from 6:23 am to 7:32 am on Wednesday.

Nine forms of Goddess Durga will be worshiped during Navratri. In this, on the first day Shailputri will be worshipped, who is the giver of will and determination. Similarly, on the second day Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta on Tritiya, Kushmanda on Chaturthi, Skandha Mata on Panchami, Katyayani on Shashthi, Kalaratri on Saptami, Mahagauri on Ashtami and Siddhidatri Devi on Navami will be worshipped.
