This kitchen, which has the capacity to cook and distribute food to about 50 thousand students, was built about two years ago, but now it is going to be inaugurated. It has been prepared at a cost of about Rs 12 crore. Akshaya Patra kitchen will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In fact, first of all Chief Minister Chouhan and later about three years ago, the then Chief Minister Kamal Nath had decided to prepare a blueprint for Akshay Patra Rasoi and run it. Kamal Nath wanted to install it in Chhindwara, but due to the number of people there being only 5 thousand, the Akshaya Patra organization was facing problems, but the government did not refuse. It was constructed in Bhopal according to the intention of Chief Minister Chouhan. From this Akshaya Patra kitchen, children studying in about 700 government schools of Bhopal city will be given nutritious midday meal. With this, food can be provided in schools up to 40 km away. Chanchalapati Das, Vice Chairman of Akshaya Patra Foundation, Ravi Jhunjhunwala, Chairman and Managing Director of HEG were present in this regard. He gave detailed information about this.

The specialty of Akshaya Patra Rasoi is that it is the 66th kitchen spread across several states across the country. This organization is providing nutritious food to 22 lakh students in more than 20 thousand schools of 15 states. ISKCON organization operates the Akshaya Patra Foundation. Courtesy of HEG Limited, the kitchen built in Bhopal has been built at a cost of about Rs 12 crore. Along with this, HEG will give money every year from its CSR fund at the rate of about 8 rupees per student. The national president of this foundation Bharatarshabh Das told News2News.in that no child in the country should be deprived of education due to hunger, so the foundation is doing this work. Its kitchen is fully automatic and designed in a very modern way. He told that dal, rice, roti, vegetables etc. will be prepared with the machines. About 150 people have been engaged daily in preparing and delivering food to 50,000 children.

Foundation’s National President Bharatarshbha Das told that 20,000 rotis will be made per hour by kneading one quintal flour at a time with the machines and chapati machine. With this, 1200 liters of pulses and 125 kg of rice can be made at one go. Apart from this, there are many specialties of these machines. He also took a tour of the entire kitchen and explained the operation of each of the machines.
