Bhopal. 2.5 to 3 kg less gas is being given in the domestic gas cylinders provided to the consumers. On Tuesday, based on the complaint, the Food Department team stopped three autos of Siddharth Gas Agency in front of Parwaliya police station in Shahpura Trilanga. When seven cylinders were weighed, there was 2.5 to 3 kg less gas in them. Which has been confiscated by the Food and Weights and Measures Department.

After the action, the team of Food and Weights and Measures Department reached the warehouse of the Gas Agency, where the stock and cylinders were examined, in which 43 domestic gas cylinders and 49 commercial cylinders were seized. The team has also handed over all three autos to Parvaliya police. District Supply Controller Meena Malakar says that consumers should buy gas cylinders only after weighing them. If an agency operator refuses, a complaint can be made. A case will be registered against the operator and presented in the Collector Court.
