Bhopal Crime News:Police have arrested the miscreant who looted cash worth Rs 1400 by attacking a young man with a knife near Neelam Park located in Jahangirabad police station area. The injured in the attack is currently undergoing treatment in Hamidia. After the incident went viral on social media, Arera Hills police station searched the complainant and registered a case against three unknown miscreants. Later, the diary was sent as the place of occurrence was Jahangirabad.
According to the police, Govind Maravi (42), a resident of Bhimnagar, works in a hotel in Jahangirabad, behind D-Mart. He was returning home from work late at night on 21st April. In a deserted area near Neelam Park, three miscreants stopped him on the pretext of asking for a matchbox and attacked him on the back with a knife and snatched the money kept in his pocket. The injured Govind went home and informed the family about the incident, after which he was taken to Jayaprakash Hospital for treatment. He was referred to Hamidia due to his critical condition.
After the incident went viral on social media, the Arera Hills police station reached Hamidia Hospital and registered a case of robbery against three unknown people after taking the statement of the injured. In the investigation, it was found that the place of incident is of Jahangirabad, after which the diary was sent to Jahangirabad. Police searched the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area and interrogated the footpath people, after which the suspect Mohammad Faizan alias Munna Footpathi (20) resident of Bagh Farhat Afza police station Aishbagh was detected. When the police interrogated him in custody, the accused accepted to execute the incident. On the day of the incident, he attacked a youth named Aslam with a knife in Talaiya area, whose report was lodged. Two other accused are still on the lookout in the robbery case.
