By changing the ATM of Sanchi parlor operator in Gulmohar located in Shahpura police station area, the fraudsters withdrew cash of twenty thousand rupees from the account in two separate transactions. The miscreants have also made online purchases worth Rs 34 thousand from his account. Fraudsters have defrauded a Sanchi parlor operator of Rs 54 thousand. Police have registered a case of fraud. Police are searching for the accused on the basis of CCTV footage. According to police, Ankit Batham (31) lives in Gulmohar Shahpura and runs Sanchi Parlour. His father Omprakash Batham is retired from Vallabh Bhavan. On October 30, at around 1 pm, Ankit reached the SBI ATM in Gulmohar with his father’s ATM card to withdraw money. At that time two-three youths were standing near the ATM.

Changed his card in the ATM

After installing the ATM in the machine, he withdrew the money. During this, the young man standing behind saw his PIN number and came out. While withdrawing the money, a call came on Ankit’s mobile and she started talking. Meanwhile, another associate of the accused arrived and changed his card in the ATM.

Withdraw money from another ATM

After receiving the message on the mobile, it was found that two transactions of Rs 10 each and online purchases worth Rs 34 thousand had been made from the father’s account. When he checked the ATM card, it turned out to be that of another person. On Friday, he reached the police station and lodged a report of the incident. Preliminary investigation has revealed that money was withdrawn from the ATM located at stop number twelve.
