AIIMS Bhopal: At the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal, doctors saved the life of a patient by performing a complex operation. According to AIIMS doctors, a 22-year-old young man had heaviness and severe pain in his chest. There was difficulty in eating and swallowing. Upon examination, it was revealed that there was a tumor in the lungs. Dr. Vinay Kumar, senior cancer surgeon at AIIMS, immediately admitted the patient. CT scan revealed that there was a tumor of about 5 kg inside the chest on the left side of the patient, which was stuck to the esophagus and thick blood vessel (arch of aorta) from the left lung.

A team was formed under the leadership of Dr. Vinay Kumar. The team successfully performed surgery on the patient and removed a 5 kg tumor from his chest. According to doctors, the patient is completely healthy. Professor (Dr) Ajay Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, has congratulated the entire team for this wonderful achievement. Cardiothoracic Surgeon (CTVS) Dr. Yogesh Niwariya, Dr. Harish and Dr. Shikha from Anesthesia Department, Dr. Vinay Kumar (Senior Oncosurgery), Dr. Nilesh (Oncosurgeon), Dr. Ankit Jain from the surgery team were involved in this operation.
