Bhopal. Amulya Garden, which serves liquor illegally, has been demolished by the joint teams of Bhopal district administration while taking action. The police force was also present along with the officials of the administration while demolishing the restaurants.

While taking action, the team of Excise Department raided the Amulya Garden Dhaba operating in Gulmohar area two days back. During this, along with the arrangement of food to the customers, the arrangement of serving liquor was seen here.

The team found 42 people consuming liquor on the spot and a case was registered against the dhaba operator. The state government has launched a campaign regarding the de-addiction campaign and raids are also being conducted from time to time in this matter under the guidance of higher officials.

Dhaba operator did not have license

It was informed by the official of the Excise Department that along with eating food, customers were also given the facility to consume liquor illegally while sitting at the operated dhaba. After the information of the case, customers were caught drinking illicit liquor during raids and after that challan action was taken.

He told that no such license was taken from the dhaba operator and despite this the process of serving and selling liquor was being done. It was told that Amulya Garden was built on the land of Delhi resident Amya Kumar Dutta and Vijay Kumar Mishra had taken it on rent.

Illegal sale of liquor in the name of running a dhaba in this area by the accused, along with arrangements for drinking liquor, involvement of other activities has been found.
