The terror of elephants often overshadows the lives of people. Recently, a similar case was heard from UP, in which the elephant of BJP MLA killed 3 people. The latest case has come to light from Jharkhand. Where elephant terror has crushed 10 people to death in the last 2 days. Whereas in the last 12 days, the elephant has killed 16 people. This incident is from the rural areas adjacent to Ranchi. Where a herd of elephants attacked 4 villages. As soon as the incident came to light, the district administration has imposed Section 144 in Itki block area.

Section 144 has been imposed in the area from 11 am on Tuesday till further orders. Two women and two men are involved in this accident among the four villagers of Itki area. The deceased have been identified as Govinda Oraon, Punia Devi, Sukhbir Oraon and Rakhwa Devi.

Know the whole matter

Giving information about the matter, the villagers said that this morning two elephants were coming to the village after wandering from the forest, but both got separated on the way. During this, one elephant remained in Garhgaon of Itki police station area. Enraged by this, the elephant went on a rampage and killed four villagers by thrashing them to death. After this, the police team reached the spot, took the body of the deceased and sent it to Ranchi Rims Hospital for postmortem.

Please tell that in the last 2 days, elephants have killed more than 10 people so far. 4 people have died in Ranchi and 5 in Lohardaga district. On the other hand, in the last 12 days, elephants have killed 16 people. The Divisional Forest Department of Ranchi has imposed section 144 in Itki block due to frequent elephant attacks.
