Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren will also participate in the floor test. At present, he is in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). JMM claims- We have the support of 43 MLAs
CM Champai Soren had handed over a letter of support from 43 MLAs of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress and other parties to Governor CP Radhakrishnan. The Governor had given 10 days time to prove majority. Meanwhile, 37 JMM-Congress MLAs were shifted to Hyderabad to avoid manipulation. Let us tell you that the majority figure in the 81-seat assembly is 41. Regarding the floor test, JMM general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said that the grand alliance government has the written support of 43 MLAs. After proving the majority, the cabinet expansion will take place on February 7.

After the swearing-in, MLAs of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and parties involved in the Congress alliance were sent to Hyderabad by chartered plane. Congress leader claims- We have sufficient numerical strength
Telangana Congress leader Pranab Jha said- Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren will also vote. We have sufficient number of MLAs to prove majority. Our MLAs came and stayed here because BJP was continuously trying to break them. There was threat of ED, CBI and Income Tax. They (BJP) are trying to topple the government in every state where there is an opposition government.

Supreme Court rejected Hemant Soren’s petition
Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren had reached the Supreme Court against his arrest and ED action. But the top court rejected his petition and asked him to file a petition in the Jharkhand High Court in this matter. The court has allowed him to appear in the floor test.
