5G in India: Reliance Jio is rapidly rolling out its 5G service in the country. Today the telecom company has launched Jio True 5G network in 20 new cities. With this launch, now the number of cities connected with Jio True 5G has reached 277.
Giving information, the telecom operator said that from today Jio 5G services will be available in Bongaigaon, North Lakhimpur, Sivasagar, Tinsukia (Assam), Bhagalpur, Katihar (Bihar), Mormugao (Goa), Diu (Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu), Gandhidham. (Gujarat), Bokaro Steel City, Deoghar, Hazaribagh (Jharkhand), Raichur (Karnataka), Satna (Madhya Pradesh), Chandrapur, Ichalkaranji (Maharashtra), Thoubal (Manipur), Faizabad, Firozabad and Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) commissioned Are.
Reliance Jio has become the first and only operator to launch Jio True 5G in most of these cities. Jio users of these cities will be invited under the Jio Welcome Offer. Invited users will get unlimited data at 1Gbps+ speed at no extra cost. A Jio spokesperson said, “We are proud to roll out Jio True 5G services in these 20 cities across 11 states and union territories. With this launch, Jio users in 277 cities can enjoy the transformative benefits of Jio True 5G in the new year 2023.
