Pakistan is not deterring from its antics. He is continuously sending drones to the Indian border, but the Indian Army always destroys Pakistan’s nefarious intentions. These drones are being used by Pakistan to smuggle weapons into India. A similar case has been seen in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistani drone targeted
BSF personnel fired upon a suspected Pakistani drone flying near the Indian border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district this morning. According to media reports, at around 2.30 am, BSF personnel guarding the Chamliyal border post in Ramgarh sub-sector saw a blinking red light in the sky, which they thought was a drone coming from Pakistan. After this, BSF personnel fired about twenty rounds to bring down the drone.
BSF jawans sent back the drone
BSF officials said that the suspected Pakistani drone was driven back into its territory. Along with this, a search operation is being conducted in the villages adjacent to the Chamliyal, Sapwal and Narayanpur border outposts to ensure that no weapons or drugs were dropped from this drone.
Even before infiltration attempts failed
Before this drone was shot down by the BSF, on March 11, the BSF had targeted and shot down a drone entering Gurdaspur in Punjab from the Pakistani side. During this, BSF recovered an AK series rifle, two magazines and 40 rounds of bullets from a field in Nabi Nagar area of Gurdaspur.
About a month before this incident, BSF personnel shot down a Pakistani drone in Gurdaspur district of Punjab. A search operation was carried out by BSF and police at the place where the drone fell. During this, 4 packets of opium were also recovered.
