Yamuna Nagar: In the name of sending it to Spain, they cheated Vishal Kumar, resident of Vishwakarma Colony, Jagadhri and Rajat, residents of Kotarkhana, of Rs 7 lakh 62,000. The allegation was made against Amit Pal, a resident of Model Town, Derabassi, Punjab, and his associates. The Sector 17 police station registered a case against the accused Amit and his associates under the Fraud and Immigration Act and initiated action. The police are looking for the accused in the case.

The victim met the accused at Ram Bharose Dhaba Jagadhri.

According to the information, Vishal and Rajat Kumar, residents of Vishwakarma Colony, said in their police complaint that they came to know through one of their friends that the accused Amit Pal was sending money abroad. On June 27, he met accused Amit Pal at Ram Bharose Dhaba Jagadhri. The defendant then lured her into sending her to Spain. They both listened to his words and agreed to go to Spain. The accused demanded Rs 12 lakh from both of them. In this, Vishal Kumar separately paid Rs 2.5 lakh to the accused. While Rajat gave Rs 5,000 and Rs 12,000. On November 12, 2023, he received a call from the defendant that his traffic ticket had been issued.

In addition to the defendant, his sister was also involved in the fraud.

Victims Vishal and Rajat said that whenever the accused came to them to collect money, his sister Santosh Sharma, a resident of Mayur Vihar Phase One in Delhi, also came. The defendant surrendered his ticket and visa. Upon investigation it turned out that it was a fake. Apart from the accused, Charanjeet Verma, Deeksha and Mahendra are also involved in this scam. When it turned out that the ticket and visa were fake and he tried to talk to the defendants, their numbers kept getting disconnected. He was upset and complained about it to the police. After investigating the matter, the police filed fraud charges against the accused and initiated action.

Investigations into this matter are ongoing

Vishwajit Singh, in-charge of HUDA police station Sector 17 in Jagadhri, who is investigating the case, says a case has been registered against the accused Amit Pal and others. The case is under investigation. Soon the accused is arrested and interrogated.
