Debris fell on the cars from the wall collapsing in the storm and rain of the ancient fortress in Budiya of Yamunanagar.

Yamunanagar: Part of the upper part of a wall of the old fortress in Budiya in the district collapsed due to heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms. The collapse caused two cars parked near the wall to be damaged by falling debris. Fortunately, due to the rain and strong winds, no one was near the wall at the time. This saved the loss of life and property.

In the town of Budia of the district there is a centuries-old fortress. It is said that the fort was built by the Sikh rulers centuries ago. Even today, the deceased king was the last ruler of the princely state in the fortress. This is where Anmol Singh’s family members live. Locals told that a road for passenger traffic was built near the border wall of the fortress. Villagers have built their houses along the road and park their vehicles in front of their house at night on the empty square near the fortress wall.

During the day, children play in the open space along the wall. But last night, part of the upper parts of the fortress wall suddenly collapsed due to heavy rain and strong storm. Debris from the wall fell on two cars parked there and were badly damaged. When they heard the sound of debris falling from the wall, people gathered immediately. The special thing is that when the part of the wall collapsed, nobody was there. Due to the rain and storm, all people were in their homes, which did not save anyone from death.
