Yamunanagar: In Jafarpur Jafri village, a person attacked a mother and her son with a knife and injured them due to rivalry. The injured mother and her son are being treated in hospital. After receiving the information, the police arrived on site, registered a case against the accused on the complaint of the injured person and initiated an investigation.
According to the information, Ranbir Singh, a resident of Jafarpur Jafri village, in his complaint to Sadhaura police said that he had an argument with Subhash of the same village over a certain issue a few days ago. Thereafter, the accused harbored a grudge against him and his family members. On Sunday, his mother Sunita was feeding the animals on the street. During this time, Subhash came there and started abusing his mother. The defendant then pulled out a knife and attacked his mother. As a result, his mother was injured. When he reached the spot after hearing the noise, the accused also attacked him with a knife, due to which he was also injured. When the defendant saw other people coming, he threatened them with death and ran away. People arranged for him to be taken to hospital and informed the police about the incident. After investigating the matter, the police lodged a complaint against the accused and initiated action.
