Haryana: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has launched Haryana Trust Based Reading Mobile App for the convenience of consumers of Electricity Department. This mobile app is created on the basis of Haryana Trust based readings of Haryana Discom. Consumers can easily pay their bills through this app. The consumer will not be subject to pressure from the office.

App launched in 4 districts on pilot basis

The Chief Minister said that this Haryana Trust based mobile reading app will be launched on a pilot basis in Panchkula, Karnal, Mahendragarh and Hisar districts in the first phase. This will benefit 10,000 and 70,000 electricity consumers. The electricity bill in the state is issued every two months. Many electricity consumers had financial difficulties paying two months’ bill at once and wanted to receive the bill every month. This app is created so that they can choose the invoice option when required. This allows the consumer to choose between a bi-monthly or monthly bill.

The creation of the electricity bill was delegated to the consumer.

The chief minister said the state government has decided to hand over the preparation of electricity bills to the electricity consumer. With this app, the consumer can switch his billing plan from bi-monthly to monthly and generate his electricity bill online by entering the current meter reading. Consumers can also pay their bills through this mobile app.

Chief Minister registration portal for urban housing schemes launched

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has launched the Mukhyamantri Shahri Awas Yojana registration portal for the beneficiaries applying under the Mukhyamantri Shahri Awas Yojana to provide housing at concessional rates to the eligible persons. To secure your property under the program, this portal will go live from February 1st. Eligible applicants can register on the Housing for All department website starting today. In the first phase, 10,542 plots of land in 14 cities will be allocated to those eligible. This process will be completed in approximately 15 days.

You will receive priority in the allocation of land

The chief minister told the officials that priority would be given to nomadic caste, widows and Scheduled Caste applicants in allotment of land. In addition, take necessary measures soon to provide housing to the applicants who have applied for housing. Under this scheme, applications have been invited for houses from around 2.90 lakh families who live in cities, do not have their own house and whose annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh. Around 1.51 lakh people applied for a plot of land and around 1.38 lakh people applied for an apartment.

There will be housing in these cities

CM Manohar Lal said that applicants will have to deposit a booking amount of Rs 10,000 while applying on the registration portal of Chief Minister Urban Housing Scheme. In the first phase of property booking on the portal, applications can be made for 14 cities including Charkhi Dadri, Gohana, Sirsa, Jhajjar, Fatehabad, Jagadhri, Safidon, Pinjore, Rohtak, Rewari, Mahendragarh, Karnal, Palwal and Julana.
