Hisar. The patience of the disabled people who protested and raised their demands in front of the Minisecretariat for more than two months ended on Monday. Accusing the government and administration of adopting a negative attitude, they protested and shouted slogans in front of the residence of the Minister for Civic Bodies, Dr. Kamal Gupta, on. They announced that they would camp here, following which the administration officials swung into action and social welfare officer Deepika, who was there, assured them that the problem would be sorted out tomorrow. Following this, the disabled people gave time till December 3 to resolve the issue and warned that they would again organize a major agitation if attempts were made to trick them now.
Earlier, when the minister was protesting against disabled people in the district, he reached the residence of Dr. Kamal Gupta. Here they loudly shouted slogans and said that the government and administration did not care about them. A disabled employee was not paid his salary for 21 months and was even fired from his job. They have been sitting on strike in front of the mini-secretariat for two months on this issue, but the deputy commissioner, other officials and government representatives do not even think it is appropriate to look at them. They were forced to demonstrate.
Police and administrators tried to convince him that Dr. Kamal Gupta is currently contesting the election in Rajasthan and therefore he should submit his memorandum. Disabled Rights Forum officials then announced that they would camp at the minister’s residence. The security authorities had no idea that they could camp here. With this disability report, administrative and police officials took action and informed the higher officials.
During this demonstration, organized under the banner of Hisar Block Committee of Viklang Adhikar Manch Haryana, demanding sacking of disabled employee Sahdev and payment of outstanding 21-month salary, the women of the organization expressed their anger against the government by begging . The dharna was co-chaired by Krishna Guri, Sahdev and director Sandeep Patel Nagar. Addressing the Dharna: State General Secretary of Disabled Rights Forum Hrishikesh Rajli, Women Leader Shakuntala Jakhar, Golu Data, Farmer Leader Krishna Singh Pali, Employee Leader Chandgi Ram, Ka Suresh, District Manager Krishna Guri, Pankaj Sharma, Sushil Mill Gate, Gajesingh 12 Quarter, Mahavir Kuleri Agroha Block Head, Subhash Nangthala Block Secretary Agroha, Krishnakant and Hansi Block Head Manoj Thakur spoke.
