Weather Update for Haryana: The winter season is in its final phase but the harsh winter season is still going on in Haryana. Winter poses big problems for people. The Sun God comes out after noon but after giving darshan he hides again. For this reason, people don’t feel much relief from colds. The situation is such that the daytime temperature is also measured at 9 degrees Celsius.

Alert in these districts

In view of the severe winter, the weather department has declared red alert in four districts of the state, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal and Karnal, orange alert in eight districts and cold alert in 10 districts. This cold day situation has remained the same for the past few days. The cold wave is likely to continue with dense fog and cold days in the alert districts.

Increase in night temperature

The state recorded a mere 0.2 degree increase in nighttime temperature, but is still 1.6 degrees below normal. However, the daytime temperature fell by 0.1 degrees. It remains 6.8 degrees below normal. In addition, people face dense fog.

Find out why a bad cold occurs

Explaining the reason for the severe cold, meteorologists said that this severe cold is occurring due to fewer western disturbances. However, El Niño conditions are also considered to be one of the reasons for the decline in western unrest. For this reason, a decline in cold wave days can now be observed in northwest India. As a result, the duration of the cold wave has also increased here. According to the information, the lowest temperature in the state was recorded in Ambala at 3.4.
