Tohana: Panchayat Minister Devendra Babli said that the boundary of Tohana Municipal Council has been expanded by around 5.86 square kilometers around the town. A notification in this regard has also been issued by the Haryana government. By expanding the boundaries of the local council, basic amenities such as street lights, paved roads, etc. will also be available to citizens. The development of the urban area will accelerate.

The Panchayat Minister heard the grievances of the citizens regarding various departments including Cadara, Electricity, Agriculture, Panchayati Raj, Public Health, Irrigation Department, Property Pass and directed the local officials to resolve the same within the time limit. He urged officials to work as a team and solve the public’s problems. Solve public problems as a priority, do not be careless in this matter. After 15 days, a meeting will be held with the officials to discuss the issues at the Janata Darbar. While resolving the issues related to the Electricity Department, he directed the officials that citizens should not have to travel repeatedly for the services related to the Electricity Department.

While dismissing the complaints related to disability pension and BPL ration card, he said that a citizen’s ration card will not be reduced. All citizens whose names have been removed from their ration cards will be corrected soon. He directed the police to check drug abuse and curb thefts. In response to the elderly woman’s complaint, he gave instructions to reinstall the meter. At the request of a woman, he helped her daughter receive a year-long coaching session using his personal funds. Instructions have been given to resolve the water problem in Chitain village within three months.
