Kurukshetra News: The Punjab and Haryana High Court was scheduled to hold a hearing Monday on the Thanesar Municipal Council’s appointment and rectification of errors. With the judge on leave, there was no hearing in the High Court on Monday. The Supreme Court has set July 12 as a regular hearing. Following the hearing on July 12th, a decision will now be taken on when the elections to the Thanesar Municipal Council will take place. Speaking on behalf of the petitioner, attorney Jawahar Lal Goyal said the Thanesar Municipal Council did not submit a response correcting the district restrictions and errors on Monday. On the other hand, with the setting of the next election date, July 12, the hopes of the interested candidates suffered a setback.

Let us tell you that the High Court of Punjab and Haryana on May 4th ruled May 22nd to fix the closure of Thanesar municipal government and other errors. The Punjab and Haryana High Court was scheduled to hear the matter on Monday. Former councilors Vivek Mehta, Manu Jain, Amit Garg and Rajesh Bansal had submitted a written application to the Punjab and Haryana High Court alleging district closures and other wrongdoings in the districts of the municipal council.

The petition pointed out that many mistakes were made in Thanesar prison detention. More votes were cast in many counties where the population was smaller. Where there were more voters, fewer votes were cast. In such a situation, when closing the station, heavy manipulations were made. The petition also claimed that rules were not followed when the station was closed. Rather, the Ward Bandi was prepared so that a family’s votes were cast in different districts. At the High Court hearing the previous day, the High Court had issued a notice to the Parish Council alleging station closures and other errors. The plaintiff’s attorney, Jawahar Lal Goyal, said that Kuldeep Malik, a former chief official of Thanesar Municipal Council, submitted the response on behalf of all parties. The court then objected, explaining on whose behalf it had authority to respond. In this case, the answer must now be submitted by the city council. On Monday, the local council submitted no response to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court has set the date for the hearing for July 12

The plaintiff’s lawyer, Jawahar Lal Goyal, said the Punjab and Haryana Supreme Court Justice hearing the case was suspended on Monday. For this reason there was no hearing before the High Court. The Supreme Court has set July 12 as the next date for the regular hearing. He said that the city council committed many irregularities in Bandi district, where there were fewer voters but more votes were cast, and where there were more voters, fewer votes were cast. In such a situation, during the precinct closure, the city council shifted the voters to other precincts.
