The Haryana government has made a major decision for special Girdawari of rain damaged crops. Compensation assistants will be appointed by the government who will support the Patwari of the area in Girdawari. A compensation assistant is appointed in each compensation block. A block of 500 acres is provided for the Compensation Assistant to review. The Compensation Assistant works with Patwari to attach the photo, location and timestamp of the damaged crop.
Haryana government had decided to perform special Girdawari for crops damaged by rain and hailstorm. The government has issued instructions to pay farmers compensation for damaged crops by the month of May. The state government wants to relieve farmers immediately, which is why the government has taken this step to quickly assess damage to crops. In this context, the Deputy Commissioners have been ordered to appoint a Compensation Assistant without undue delay and in a transparent manner.
CM Manohar Lal himself oversees Girdavari. He said the government fully supports the farmers and they should not face any problems. The prime minister said Girdavari’s process had been accelerated to ensure compensation for the damage caused to the crops. Soon the farmers will be compensated for the loss.
